Journal ArticleDOI

Cytotoxic effects of platinum nanoparticles obtained from pomegranate extract by the green synthesis method on the MCF-7 cell line.

TL;DR: Propidium iodide staining demonstrated that the monodisperse Pt NPs induced apoptosis by means of molecular DNA fragmentation in human breast cancer cell line, MCF-7.
Journal ArticleDOI

Monodisperse palladium–nickel alloy nanoparticles assembled on graphene oxide with the high catalytic activity and reusability in the dehydrogenation of dimethylamine–borane

TL;DR: In this paper, high effective and stable palladium nanoparticles (Pd NPs) supported on graphene oxide (GO) were synthesized, characterized and applied for dehydrogenation of dimethylamine-borane (DMAB) using the ultrasonic reduction method in the presence of oleylamine and GO as support matrices at room temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, characterization, inhibition effects, and molecular docking studies as acetylcholinesterase, α-glycosidase, and carbonic anhydrase inhibitors of novel benzenesulfonamides incorporating 1,3,5-triazine structural motifs

TL;DR: The novel synthesized compounds (MZ1-MZ11) have a higher enzyme inhibitory potential than ACR, TAC, and AZA, respectively and may have the potential to be used as alternative medicines after further research in the treatment of many diseases such as diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, heart failure, ulcer, and epilepsy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly monodisperse RuCo nanoparticles decorated on functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotube with the highest observed catalytic activity in the dehydrogenation of dimethylamine−borane

TL;DR: RuCo@MWCNT as mentioned in this paper is the best ever catalytic performance with a very high turnover frequency (775.28 h−1) and low Ea value of 13.72 −2 kJ/mol for DMAB dehydrocoupling in the ambient conditions yielding 100% of the cyclic product (Me2NBH2)2 at room temperature.
Journal ArticleDOI

Different ligand based monodispersed Pt nanoparticles decorated with rGO as highly active and reusable catalysts for the methanol oxidation

TL;DR: In this paper, a highly effective and monodisperse Pt/L@rGO nanocatalysts were successfully synthesized by using different types of ligands and the impact of ligand on catalytic activity of the prepared nanomaterials have been examined for methanol oxidation.
