A wheel support bearing assembly, which enables an increase in the strength and the fatigue strength of its wheel mounting flange or vehicle body fitting flange against high stress and repeated stress and the suppression of the increase of the number of processes, includes an inner member and an outer member rotatable relative to each other through rolling elements. The flange is formed on the inner member or the outer member, for example, a hub. A component part having the flange is a hot-forged product of steel in which a matrix portion is formed as a standard structure and the non-standard structural portion is formed on the surface of the flange. The non-standard structure is formed of either of a fine ferrite/pearlite structure, an upper bainite structure, a lower bainite structure, and a tempered martensite structure, or mixture of two or more of these structures.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form rolling die having very excellent practicability which can prevent damage on a tooth flank of a member to be form-rolled by suppressing interference between the member to be form-rolled and a form rolling tooth profile of the die in a relief part as much as possible.SOLUTION: The form rolling die form-rolls a desired tooth profile by causing an outer circumferential surface of the member to be form-rolled to plastically deform by abutting a form rolling tooth profile on the outer circumferential surface of the member to be form-rolled. The form rolling tooth profile is constituted by a leading part A, a finishing part B, and the relief part C, and a gradual decrease part of the tooth thickness in which a tooth thickness T of tooth parts of the form rolling tooth profile in the prescribed height position gradually decreases from a form rolling direction start end side to a form rolling direction terminal end side is provided on the relief part C, and the gradual decreasing part of the tooth thickness is constituted so that the gradual decreasing degree of the tooth thickness T on the form rolling direction terminal end side in the relief part C is larger than the gradual decreasing degree of the tooth thickness T on the form rolling direction start end side.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shaft having a spline and a gear which can be easily assembled in assembly work, and a flat die for form-rolling the gear shaft. SOLUTION: An extension part 15 which extends in the axial direction from a tooth bottom end 15a and has a larger diameter than that of a shaft part is provided. The tooth flank comprises: a tapered surface 21 having a substantially trapezoidal shape which is tapered downwardly in the axial direction from an end part 21c of a tooth crest 13; a first tooth flank surface 22 which is adjacent to one oblique line 21a of the tapered surface, a tooth flank end part 22a on the same side as the oblique line and an extension part, and extends along the oblique line; a second tooth flank surface 23 disposed symmetrically to the first tooth flank surface across the tooth crest; and a tooth flank end chamfered surface 24 which is adjacent to the first and second tooth flank chamfered surface to form an oblique surface to connect the extension part with an upper side 21d of the tapered surface, and each surface is curved. SOLUTION: In this broaching method, first blade groups 5, 6 and 7 having a cutting blade including final finishing size blades 15, 16 are planted in a plurality of grooves 2, 3 and 4 formed extending in the longitudinal direction in the circumference of a shaft 50 of a bar-like broaching tool body 1, and second blade groups 52, 53 and 54 having at least one or more final finishing size blades 20, 21 are provided in the rear of the first blade group after re-grinding, thereby broaching. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broach to be attachable, keeping the runout accuracy of the broach well, without causing looseness even if receiving large load by broaching. SOLUTION: The broach has: a front grip part 32 provided at a body 7; a cylindrical part 34 following the front grip part 32 and provided with a plurality of guide parts 33 at the outer periphery; a small diameter bar-like shaft part 37 extending from a cylindrical part end 11; at least one assembly 6 of hollow cylinder shape or ring shape provided with a large number of cutting edges 31 fitted to the small diameter bar-like shaft part 37; and a rear grip part 38 following the small diameter bar-like shaft part extension part 36 of the body 7. The small diameter bar-like shaft part extension part 36 is provided with an external screw part 39, and the end part of each of a large number of set bolts 9 provided at a right angle on the circumference of a nut 8 screwed with the external screw part 39 is pressed to a collar 12 to press the end part of each set bolt 9 to the plane of the assembly 6 through the collar 12.
