Effect of Ticagrelor Monotherapy vs Ticagrelor With Aspirin on Major Bleeding and Cardiovascular Events in Patients With Acute Coronary Syndrome: The TICO Randomized Clinical Trial.

TL;DR: Among patients with acute coronary syndromes treated with drug-eluting stents, ticagrelor monotherapy after 3 months of dual antiplatelet therapy, compared with ticagerelor-based 12-month dual anti Platelet therapy resulted in a modest but statistically significant reduction in a composite outcome of major bleeding and cardiovascular events at 1 year.
Journal ArticleDOI

Non-ablative 1550-nm erbium-glass and ablative 10 600-nm carbon dioxide fractional lasers for acne scars: a randomized split-face study with blinded response evaluation.

TL;DR: This work has shown that non‐ablative 1550‐nm erbium‐doped fractional photothermolysis systems and 10 600‐nm carbon dioxide fractional laser systems have been effectively used to treat scars.
Journal ArticleDOI

Acute myocardial infarction in the young adults.

TL;DR: A review of patients with acute myocardial infarction who underwent coronary angiography at Yonsei University Severance Hospital from January, 1985, to August, 1993 revealed a history of cigarette smoking and hypercholesterolemia were more frequently found in the young patients, but aHistory of hypertension and diabetes were more frequent in the elderly patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cardioprotective Potential of an SGLT2 Inhibitor Against Doxorubicin-Induced Heart Failure

TL;DR: Beta hydroxybutyrate (βOHB), which is well known ketone body associated with SGLT2 inhibitor, showed a protective effect against Dox in H9C2 cells and in Dox-treated mice, suggesting elevating βOHB might be a convincing mechanism for the protective effects of SGLt2 inhibitor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Long-Term Clinical Outcomes and Optimal Stent Strategy in Left Main Coronary Bifurcation Stenting

TL;DR: Intervention of LMCA bifurcation lesions using DES implantation demonstrated acceptable long-term clinical outcomes, especially in C-DES patients, and use of a 1-stent strategy resulted in better clinical benefits than using a 2- stent strategy.
