Crossflow boiling heat transfer in tube bundles

TL;DR: In this paper, experimental studies were conducted for two-phase crossflows in horizontal tube bundles at various mass fluxes and local flow qualities, and the results showed that the difference between the heat transfer performance for a heated tube in an infinite pool and in a heated or non-heated bundle can be explained in terms of different flow field geometry and thermal environment.

A simple heat transfer correlation for cross flow in tube bundles

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple heat transfer correlation based on tube diameter was deduced as NU d = 0.366 Re d 0.6 Pr 1 3, which fits the experimental data well within ± 20% for 4000 Re d 5.
