TL;DR: In this paper, the transverse momentum distributions of charged hadrons in 280 GeV muon-proton deep inelastic interactions are studied. But the transversal momenta are defined relative to the accurately measured virtual photon direction and the experiment has almost complete angular acceptance for the final state hadrons.

TL;DR: The net charge of final state hadrons in both the current and target fragmentation regions has been measured in 280 GeV/c muon-proton scattering experiment in this article, and a clean kinematic separation of the two regions in the centre-of-mass rapidity is demonstrated.

TL;DR: The differential and total corss sections and the decay density matrix elements have been measured for the reactions in the photon energy range 28 to 48 GeV in this article, and the total cross sections for ωΔ+ (1232) photo-production have been found to be slightly larger than those for elastic ω photo production in this energy range.
Abstract: The differential and total corss sections and the decay density matrix elements have been measured for the reactions, γp→ωp and γp→ωΔ+ (1232) in the photon energy range 28 to 48 GeV The total cross sections for ωΔ+ (1232) photo-production are found to be slightly larger than those for elastic ω photo-production in this energy range The data are compared to the predictions of a theoretical model and the contributing exchange mechanics are discussed

TL;DR: In this paper, a study of the dependence of the multiplicities on the hadronic center of mass energy, W, and of the Feynman x distribution was made, and it was found that K 0 and Λ production is mostly central and increases strongly with W, whereas Λ is only weakly W dependent.

TL;DR: In this paper, the forward produced protons and antiprotons in high energy muon-nucleon scattering are compared with those of the other charged hadrons and significant differences are observed which can be related to the flavour content of the target and to a difference between the baryon content of quark and gluon jets.

TL;DR: In this article, a lead glass detector installed in the EMC forward spectrometer was used to measure radiative photons in 200 GeV muon-hydrogen collisions and the results were compared with the standard QED one photon emission theory and also with the more recent predictions of a multiphoton emission theory of Chahine.
Abstract: Using a lead glass detector installed in the EMC forward spectrometer radiative photons have been measured in 200 GeV muon-hydrogen collisions. The results are compared with the standard QED one photon emission theory of Mo and Tsai and also with the more recent predictions of a multiphoton emission theory of Chahine. We conclude that there is no evidence for any deviation from the standard theory, in terms of the yield and angular distribution of photons with fractional energy,z>0.7.
