Luminescence and second harmonic generation in Eu3+/Eu2+ embedded B2O3: LiNbO3 non-linear glass–ceramics

TL;DR: The glass ceramics have shown enhanced Eu 3+ emission compared to parent glass when excited by 266-nm radiation as mentioned in this paper, and the lifetime of the 5 D 0 level of the Eu3+ has been measured and a significant increase is found in case of glass ceramic prepared around glass transition temperature.

Study of modulation instability in a temporally incoherent photorefractive ring resonator below the threshold with incoherent light

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that the growth rate of modulation instability increases with increase in the intensity feedback as well as the spatial frequency, and the spatial spectral density of the perturbation at the output of the non-linear medium increases with the shifting peak positions to the higher spatial frequency side.
