Journal ArticleDOI

The onset of radiation blistering as a function of target temperature for D+ irradiated copper

TL;DR: In this paper, the deuterium concentrations at the onset of blistering were found to be approximately constant over the temperature ranges 120 to 190 K and 190 to 300 K, although a different concentration was observed in each range.
Journal ArticleDOI

The onset of radiation-blistering in low-temperature D+-irradiated copper

TL;DR: In this paper, the onset of radiation-blistering in 200 keV D+ irradiated copper at 120 K was studied and the critical dose for blistering was found to be a minimum at a current density of (2 ± 1) A/m2.
Journal ArticleDOI

The formation of a ring of blisters in copper irradiated at 120 K: A stress-related phenomenon?

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate that there are physical conditions prevailing near the edge of the beam spot which have resulted in a significant lowering of the critical dose for blistering in this area.
Journal ArticleDOI

Deuterium implantation in graphite

TL;DR: In this paper, a study of deuterium ion implantation in polycrystalline graphite over the temperature range 100 K to 450 K was made, showing that graphite is able to retain large concentrations of implanted tritons and protons with atomic loadings exceeding unity in the deeper regions of a cold target.
