TL;DR: In this paper, a meso-microporous supported catalysts for the preparation of paraffinic compounds from fatty acid derivative compounds was proposed. But the present invention has higher catalytic activity than conventional activated carbon-and ordered mesoporous carbons (CMKs)-based supported catalyst.
Abstract: Provided is a catalyst for preparing paraffinic compounds from fatty acid derivative compounds, wherein a catalytically active metal is supported on a carbon carrier having a meso-microporous structure, a three-dimensional structure prepared using a nanosponge zeolite template. The present invention has higher catalytic activity than conventional activated carbon- and ordered mesoporous carbons (CMKs)-based supported catalysts.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for synthesizing SSZ-13 zeolite is described, comprising the steps of preparing a synthetic solution containing 0.1 to 1.0 mol of silica (SiO_2), wherein the synthetic solution contains alumina source, silica source, a template, a mixed solvent of H_2O and alcohol, and HF.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for synthesizing SSZ-13 zeolite, comprising the steps of: preparing a synthetic solution containing 0.1 to 1.0 mol of HF based on 1.0 mol of silica (SiO_2), wherein the synthetic solution contains alumina source, silica source, a template, a mixed solvent of H_2O and alcohol, and HF; heating the synthetic solution to evaporate the mixed solvent of H_2O and alcohol to prepare a gel solution containing 2.0 to 4.0 mol of the mixed solvent based on 1.0 mol of the silica; and enabling hydrothermal synthesis of the gel solution.
