Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon-coated stainless steel as PEFC bipolar plate material

TL;DR: In this paper, carbon-coated stainless steel (SUS304) was characterized by Raman spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy and anodic polarization behavior under PEFC operating conditions (H 2 SO 4 solution bubbled with H 2 (anode)/O 2 (cathode) containing 2.5ppm HF at 80°C).
Journal ArticleDOI

Improvement in corrosion properties of carbon-coated Fe-based metals for PEFC bipolar plate

TL;DR: In this paper, the combination of carbon-coat and electroless nickel plating was found to be effective for decreasing the anodic dissolution of base metal, based on the results of polarization measurement.
