A technique and mechanism to effect cross-pollination synchronization of PIM (personal information manager) data to multiple sources. Additionally, a novel feature of the subject invention is the ability to effect cross-pollination synchronization with any number of devices and sources in a network. The invention provides for a user to employ a mobile device or set of devices as a central repository for PIM data (e.g., calendar, contacts and tasks) synchronized from multiple sources (e.g., multiple PC's (personal computers), an exchange server). The invention provides for synchronization of PIM data from multiple types of server sources to multiple devices regardless of the synchronization protocol versions and different schemas.

If the operating profile differs from the baseline profile by more than a certain tolerance an alarm may be sent or another action taken, for example the pumping system may shut down, etc.

Systems and methods for compensating for pressure increase which may occur in various enclosed spaces of a pumping apparatus are disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention may compensate for pressure increases in chambers of a pumping apparatus by moving a pumping means of the pumping apparatus to adjust the volume of the chamber to compensate for a pressure increase in the chamber. More specifically, in one embodiment, to account for unwanted pressure increases to the fluid in a dispense chamber the dispense motor may be reversed to back out piston to compensate for any pressure increase in the dispense chamber.

Impure portions such as air bubbles and gelled portions in a liquid are removed so that the liquid can be discharged with improved cleanliness. Under condition that a return flow path and a liquid discharge flow path are closed, a pump chamber is expanded, thereby sucking the liquid in a liquid container portion into a pump chamber through a filter. Under condition that a vent port of the filter and the return flow path are opened and a liquid introducing flow path, the liquid discharge flow path, and a pump inlet flow path are closed, the pump chamber is contracted, thereby returning the liquid in the pump chamber toward the filter so that air in the filter is exhausted to the outside. Under condition that the return flow path and the pump inlet flow path are closed, the pump chamber is contracted, thereby discharging the liquid from the nozzle.

Connected to a flexible tube 13 which is expandable or shrinkable in the radial direction, are a flowpath 17 on the side of supply, which is provided therein with an on-off valve 21 on the side of supply, and a flowpath 19 on the side of discharge, which is provided therein with an on-off valve 22 on the side of discharge. An operating disk portion disposed between the small bellows portion 24 and the large bellows portion 25 is displaced in the axial direction, whereby the inner volume of the bellows 14 is changed, so that the flexible tube 13 is expanded or shrunk in the radial direction to carry out the pumping operation. With this arrangement, a chemical supply system simplified in construction and excellent in reliability can be provided.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the extent of cleanliness and simultaneously to make a liquid so as to be dischargeable by eliminating quality defective parts such as bubbles in the liquid and some gelated sections or the like. SOLUTION: Under such a state that a return passage 53 and a liquid discharge passage 48 are closed, a pump case 17 is expanded, drawing up a liquid in a liquid storage part 46 into a pump case 17 via a filter 41, and a vent port 41c of the filter 41 and the return passage 53 are opened, and further under such a state that a liquid lead-in passage 42, the liquid discharge passage 48 and a pump inlet passage 47 are all closed, the pump case 17 is contracted, restoring the liquid in the pump case 17 to the side of the filter 41, and air in the filter 41 is exhausted to the outside. Subsequently, under a state that the return passage 53 and the pump inlet passage 47 are closed, the pump case 17 is contracted whereby the liquid is discharged out of a painting nozzle 50.

A flexible tank has a volume-variable chamber formed so as to be sectioned by a flexible tube that is expanded or contracted in accordance with the amount of the contained chemical liquid, and adaptor parts attached to the flexible tube. A primary-side port open to the volume-variable chamber is open into one of the adaptor parts, and a secondary-side port open to the volume-variable chamber is open into the other adaptor part. A chemical liquid supply device capable of preventing chemical liquid from being discarded and applying the clean liquid is provided. This device is used to apply the liquid from a nozzle to a processed object. The nozzle is provided in a moving head and reciprocates between an applying position and a waiting position. A chemical liquid supply unit includes a chemical-liquid tank and a pump for discharging the liquid in the tank, whereby the discharged liquid is filtered by a filter and supplied to the nozzle through a supply tube. The moving head is provided with an application valve operating so as to take an applying state of applying the liquid from the nozzle and a stopped state of stopping the application, and a valve chamber of the application valve is connected to a buffer tank through a circulation tube. The circulation tube is provided with a circulation valve for opening/closing its flow path.
