Journal ArticleDOI
New V-based alloys with high protium absorption and desorption capacity
Takahiro Kuriiwa,Takuya Tamura,Toshikazu Amemiya,Takeshi Fuda,Atsunori Kamegawa,Hitoshi Takamura,Masuo Okada +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the hydrogen absorption properties of V-Zr-Ti-M(M=Fe, Mn, Ni) alloys were examined in order to develop the alloys with high hydrogen capacity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protium absorption properties of Ti–V–Cr–Mn alloys with a b.c.c. structure
Takuya Tamura,Yukio Tominaga,Kaname Matsumoto,Takeshi Fuda,Takahiro Kuriiwa,Atsunori Kamegawa,Hitoshi Takamura,Masuo Okada +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the absorption-desorption properties of Ti-V-Cr-Mn alloys by varying the contents of Mn, Ti and V in the alloys, and found that Mn addition of <10 at% was effective in improving the slope of the plateau region without any reduction of the protium absorption and degradation capacity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protium Absorption-Desorption Properties of Ti–V–Cr Alloys with a BCC Structure
Yukio Tominaga,Sinya Nishimura,Toshikazu Amemiya,Takeshi Fuda,Takuya Tamura,Takahiro Kuriiwa,Atsunori Kamegawa,Masuo Okada +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of heat treatment on the microstructures and protium absorption-desorption properties of the Ti-35V-40Cr alloy was studied, and it was found that the optimum condition for heat-treatment was annealing at 1573 K for I min.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protium Absorption-Desorption Properties of Ti–V–Cr–(Mn, Ni) Alloys
Yukio Tominaga,Kaname Matsumoto,Takeshi Fuda,Takuya Tamura,Takahiro Kuriiwa,Atsunori Kamegawa,Hitoshi Takamura,Masuo Okada +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the absorption-desorption properties of Ti-V-Cr-(Mn, Ni) alloys were investigated in conjunction with Mn, Ni and V contents and heat-treatment conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of Additions of BCC Former Elements on Protium Absorbing Properties of Cr–Ti–V Alloys
Takeshi Fuda,Kaname Matsumoto,Yukio Tominaga,Takuya Tamura,Takahiro Kuriiwa,Atsunori Kamegawa,Masuo Okada +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of the addition of BCC former elements such as Nb, Ta, Mo, and W on protium absorbing properties and the phases of Cr-Ti-V-M alloys have been studied.
