Multi metal oxide NiO-CdO-ZnO nanocomposite–synthesis, structural, optical, electrical properties and enhanced sunlight driven photocatalytic activity

TL;DR: In this paper, ternary oxide NiO-CdO-ZnO nanocomposite along with pure NiO, CdO and ZnO were prepared by the homogeneous co-precipitation method.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structural and optical analysis of surfactant assisted ZnO–NiO nanocomposites prepared by homogeneous precipitation method

TL;DR: In this paper, a homogeneous precipitation method was used to synthesize ZnO, NiO nanoparticles and ZnNO-NiO nanocomposites with and without surfactants, sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS) and hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) to alter the composition of nanocomposition.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel tri-phase heterostructured ZnO–Yb2O3–Pr2O3 nanocomposite; structural, optical, photocatalytic and antibacterial studies

TL;DR: In this paper, a tri-phase ZnO-Yb2O3-Pr2O 3 heterostructured nanocomposite was synthesized by the co-precipitation technique, and its application as an efficient antibacterial agent and photocatalyst were studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of novel heterostructured ZnO-CdO-CuO nanocomposite: Characterization and enhanced sunlight driven photocatalytic activity

TL;DR: In this article, a novel photocatalytic material heterostructured ZnO-CdO-CuO nanocomposite was synthesized by the facile co-precipitation method using XRD, FTIR, Raman, SEM, IV, UV-vis and PL techniques.
Journal ArticleDOI

Zn0.9Ce0.05M0.05O (M = Er, Y, V) nanocrystals: Structural and energy bandgap engineering of ZnO for enhancing photocatalytic and antibacterial activity

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of dopants ions on the optical properties of ZnO was also studied in detail, and the results showed that the presence of the dopants increased the photocatalytic and antibacterial activity of the Zn0.9Ce0.05M 0.05O nanocrystals.
