Methods and apparatuses for filling high aspect ratio features with tungsten-containing materials in a substantially void-free manner are provided. In certain embodiments, the method involves depositing an initial layer of a tungsten-containing material followed by selectively removing a portion of the initial layer to form a remaining layer, which is differentially passivated along the depth of the high-aspect ration feature. In certain embodiments, the remaining layer is more passivated near the feature opening than inside the feature. The method may proceed with depositing an additional layer of the same or other material over the remaining layer. The deposition rate during this later deposition operation is slower near the feature opening than inside the features due to the differential passivation of the remaining layer. This deposition variation, in turn, may aid in preventing premature closing of the feature and facilitate filling of the feature in a substantially void free manner.

Depositing tungsten into high aspect ratio features

A boom mountable robotic arm for temporarily supporting an elongate conductor includes a rigid member such as a beam or beam assembly adapted for mounting onto the upper end of a boom for example using a boom adaptor, at least one electrically insulated support post mounted to the rigid member, where each post temporarily supports an elongate electrical conductor, and at least two rotation devices for selectively controllable rotation of the rigid member and the electrically insulated support posts about at least two corresponding axes of rotation.

Boom mountable robotic arm

A crane-mounted concrete pumper has been provided wherein a telescoping boom assembly is pivotally and rotatably mounted on the platform of the truck. A concrete conduit is positioned in the interior of the boom assembly and has its intake end operatively connected to a concrete pump mounted on the truck by means of a flexible concrete hose. An extension boom is pivotally mounted on the boom assembly and may be pivoted from a folded, inoperative position to an extended position. A concrete conduit is provided in the interior of the extension boom and is placed into communication with the concrete conduit in the boom assembly when the extension boom is in its extended position. The crane may be either used to pump concrete or used in a conventional fashion. An aerial platform is provided on the boom assembly to enable an operator to pump or spray concrete.

Crane-mounted concrete pump apparatus

A telescopic boom-mounted concrete pump is provided wherein a telescoping boom assembly is pivotally and rotatably mounted on the platform of the truck. The boom assembly includes inner, intermediate and outer boom members. A first concrete conduit which is in fluid communication with a source of pressurized concrete is mounted at one side of the inner boom member for movement therewith. A normally U-shaped flexible concrete hose has its inlet end thereof connected to the discharge end of the first concrete conduit. A rigid concrete conduit has its inlet end connected to the discharge end of the flexible concrete hose. A jib boom member in the form of a concrete discharge conduit is pivotally and rotatably connected to the outer end of the outer boom member and is in fluid communication with the rigid concrete conduit. The jib boom member is secured to and is positioned within a lattice truss. A winch is selectively removably secured to the outer end of the lattice truss.

Substantially balanced bidirectionally pivoted valve operating apparatus

A telescoping boom assembly supported articulated well service pipeline for the transfer of pressurized fluids from service vehicles to petroleum wellheads for the treatment and stimulation of production oil wells. The boom assembly is mounted on a truck, trailer, or other suitable mobile transport, and the articulated pipeline comprises a plurality of long straight pipeline sections interconnected by a plurality of shorter pipe sections and by swivel joints. The inboard end of the pipeline is connected to a supply line by an inboard pipe and a pair of swivel joints. The pipeline can be folded into a cluster and tilted for storage adjacent the inboard end of the boom assembly and the clustered pipeline moved away from the service vehicle before unfolding the pipeline from the cluster. Retaining the pipeline in a compact cluster while moving the clustered pipeline between the storage position and a position beside the service vehicle provides an extra amount of clearance between the service vehicle and the pipeline to prevent a collision with any obstacle on the service vehicle.
