TL;DR: In this article, the CReSS portable device was used to measure smoking topography in a naturalistic setting, and moderate compliance rates (74.1%) were found with device usage, and issues encountered were overheating/clogging, incorrectly registered date/time-stamped data, and device repair/replacement.
