Optimal binary subspace codes of length 6, constant dimension 3 and minimum distance 4
TL;DR: It is shown that the maximum size of a binary subspace code of packet length v, minimum subspace distance d, and constant dimension k is $M=77$; in Finite Geometry terms, the maximum number of planes in $\operatorname{PG}(5,2)$ mutually intersecting in at most a point is $77$.
Book ChapterDOI
Partial spreads and vector space partitions
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors provide a historic account on partial spreads and an interpretation of the classical results from a modern perspective, and introduce all required methods from the theory of vector space partitions and Finite Geometry in a tutorial style.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ring geometries, two-weight codes, and strongly regular graphs
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that a regular projective linear two-weight code over finite Frobenius rings gives rise to a strongly regular graph, and some constructions of strongly regular codes using ring geometries.

Ring geometries, Two-Weight Codes and Strongly Regular Graphs
TL;DR: This work introduces regular projective two-weight codes over finite Frobenius rings, it is shown that such a code gives rise to a strongly regular graph, and some constructions of two- Weight codes using ring geometries are given.
Book ChapterDOI
On putative q-analogues of the Fano plane and related combinatorial structures
Thomas Honold,Michael Kiermaier +1 more
TL;DR: An attempt to construct a binary subspace code of the largest currently known size $329$ in an entirely computer-free manner is constructed using ideas from the theory of subspace codes.
