TL;DR: In this article , the authors present guidelines for the management of chronic venous disease in outpatients, including the use of ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy and endovenous non-thermal ablation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Three-year European follow-up of endovenous radiofrequency-powered segmental thermal ablation of the great saphenous vein with or without treatment of calf varicosities.

TL;DR: RSTA showed a high and durable success rate in vein ablation in conjunction with sustained clinical efficacy and showed an improvement in CEAP class compared with the clinical assessment before treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Five-year results from the prospective European multicentre cohort study on radiofrequency segmental thermal ablation for incompetent great saphenous veins
Thomas M. Proebstle,B J Alm,Oliver Göckeritz,Christian Wenzel,Thomas Noppeney,Christian Lebard,Carmine Sessa,Denis Creton,Olivier Pichot +8 more
TL;DR: This was a prospective study of radiofrequency segmental thermal ablation for the treatment of incompetent varicose great saphenous veins (GSVs) and the present report describes long‐term follow-up at 5 years.
Journal ArticleDOI
Treatment of end-stage peripheral artery disease by Neuromodulation.
Beatrix Cucuruz,Reinhard Kopp,H. Hampe-Hecht,Octavian Andercou,Wilma Schierling,Karin Pfister,Michael Koller,Thomas Noppeney +7 more
TL;DR: SCS implantation in patients with end-stage PAD can enable limb salvage in a high percentage of cases and increase mobility due to pain reduction and the role of microcirculation in these improvements needs to be investigated in further studies.
