Synthesis, Structure Determination, and Electronic Structure Characterization of Two Mixed-Valence Tetranuclear Platinum Blues with Bridging α-Pyridonate or 1-Methyluracilate Ligands.

TL;DR: In this article, the system is described as follows: Pt (C 5 H 4 NO) 2 Pt (en) 2 (NO 3 ) 5 • 5H 2 O cristallisent dans le systeme triclinique, groupe d'espace P1 et leur structure est affinee respectivement jusqu'a R=0,0305 et R= 0,0388
Journal ArticleDOI

Challenges in Biological X-ray Microanalysis in the AEM

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a model for a photon sciences division at the University of Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois, USA, which is based on the work of the authors of this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Zinc transporters ZIPT-2.4 and ZIPT-15 are required for normal C. elegans fecundity

TL;DR: Two ZIP-family zinc transporter orthologs of human ZIP6/10 and ZIP1/2/3 proteins are important for full reproductive fecundity and participate in development of the gonad and gut tissues in addition to the germ line, consistent with a complex zinc trafficking network important for reproductive success.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Correlative Cryo-Fluorescence and CryoSEM Approach for Visualizing Nanomaterials in Glioblastoma Tissue

TL;DR: A critical obstacle in the development of modern nanomaterials is the specific targeting of tumor cells and the penetration of nanoparticles into solid tumors, so a thorough understanding of the barriers to delivery of nanommaterials is required.
