A portable power source for starting a variety of outdoor power equipment. The portable power source generally includes a housing, an electrochemical power supply, a switch having an ON position with a fixed contact and a START position with a momentary contact, and a connector connected to the switch. The switch may be electrically connected to the electrochemical power supply and, using a cable, the connector is operable to be electrically connected to a starter motor associated with the outdoor power equipment. Actuation of the switch to the START position electrically connects the electrochemical power supply to the starter motor. The portable power source is adapted to be used as a primary power source and an auxiliary power source. The portable power source also includes an integrated light, an air compressor, a power supply indicator, and one or more inputs and outputs to receive and provide direct current (“DC”) and alternating current (“AC”).

Portable power source

A bolt mechanism comprising a backing plate adapted to be mounted on a flat panel, a bolt assembly housing carried by the backing plate, a sliding bolt assembly carried on the bolt assembly housing one end of which can engage and latch to a striker, and a spring on the housing for keeping the end of the bolt extending out of the bolt assembly housing. An actuator housing assembly comprising a housing having an opening therein, a movable actuator member received in the opening, the actuator member having a front surface and a rear surface and being digitally movable in the opening, and a hammer extending from the rear surface of the movable actuator member. The actuator housing assembly is adapted to enable the attachment to and detachment from the bolt mechanism assembly.

Two assembly parts latch system

The disclosure relates to a motor vehicle steering column anti-theft device of the type including a casing in which a lock is mounted rotationally between an angular locking position in which a legitimate key can be axially introduced (conventionally from the rear towards the front) or removed, and at least one angular utilization position, in which said key cannot be extracted from the lock, said lock including a rotary projecting part forming a cam that can cooperate with a control finger carried by a bolt to control the axial movements of said bolt which can slide in said casing in an axial direction between two positions: a retracted position in which it is retracted into said basing, and a forward anti-theft position towards which it is pushed elastically and in which it projects from said casing axially via a hole in said casing and prevents a part on the steering column from rotating when said lock is in said locking position with said key extracted, wherein said bolt carries a locking finger projecting radially towards the axis of said casing and penetrating a locking recess formed in a lateral face of said projecting part when said bolt is in said forward anti-theft position, to prevent or limit movement of said bolt towards said retracted position; said locking finger is automatically pushed out of said recess during rotation of said lock from said locking position into said utilization position; and said bolt is held in said retracted position, in the presence of said key, by a mobile restraining mechanism which move to an inoperative position in which said bolt is no longer held when said key is withdrawn.

Steering column anti-theft device for motor vehicle

A cable locking device with an automatic pop-up feature is provided. The cable locking device includes a main body and a cable having one end fixed to one side of the main body and the other end releasably fastened to and locked by a spring-biased locking mechanism mounted in the main body. The cable can be easily locked to the locking mechanism simply by snapping a locking head fixedly connected on the locking end of the cable to the locking mechanism. To unlock, the user needs just to insert the associated key of the locking device to the locking core of the locking device and turn it to the unlocking position. By a head pop-up mechanism, the locking head can be popped up to the outside of the main body. The operation of the cable locking device is thus very easy and effortless.

A combined lock/actuator for providing linear actuation including a lock barrel having an opening extending along a longitudinal axis, a spline in the opening extending along the longitudinal axis, a plug mounted in the opening, and a key-retractable tumbler carried by the plug and extending into the spline. The plug is rotatable within the opening over a fixed annular displacement between an actuation position and a release position. Further, the plug is translatable within the opening over a fixed axial displacement along the longitudinal axis between a first position and a second position. The tumbler extends into the spline when the plug is in the actuation position in the first position, when the plug is in the actuation position in the second position, and when the plug is in the actuation position in translating between the first and second positions.

Combined lock and linear actuator

A latching system includes a control unit that houses a remote signal responsive relay and a crank arm that is pivoted by the armature of the relay when the relay is energized to oppositely move a pair of elongate links each of which is connected to a separate latch assembly for moving operating arms of the latch assemblies to unlatched positions for causing the latch assemblies to release their latched engagement with strikers that hold a closure closed.

Linkage operated latching system

A generally cylindrical body of a device such as a cam lock is provided with a snap-in mount that enables the body to be mounted from one side of and through mounting holes formed in support panels of distinctly different thicknesses. The body has a shoulder that faces in one direction toward one side of a support panel, and carries sets of movable arms that define engagement surfaces located at different distances from the shoulder that snap outwardly after being inserted through a panel mounting hole to face toward the opposite side of the support panel. The body can be mounted on panels having three different thicknesses if three sets of arms are provided that each define engagement surfaces located at a different distance from the shoulder. More panel thicknesses can be accommodated if one or more of the sets of arms define two or more sets of engagement surfaces each located at a distinctly different distance from the shoulder.

Snap-in mount for CAM locks and the like

An actuating structure is provided for a switch lock having a barrel with a plug which is key actuated for rotation therein. An actuator interconnects the rotatable plug with a rotatable shaft of the switch and cooperates with a rotatable stop plate connected to a return spring. Specifically, an actuator lug and a stop plate surface which engage upon rotation of the plug in one direction to turn the switch momentarily from the first position to a second position against the action of the spring. The actuator also rotates in the opposite direction independently of the stop plate to turn the switch from the first to a third position.

Anti-static switch lock with momentary position

An actuating structure is provided for a lock having a barrel with a plug which is key-actuated for rotation therein, and a switch having a shaft and rotor rotatable with the plug. A first lug is fixed relative to the barrel and a second lug rotates with the plug. A first stop washer is provided having two slots therein, one slot receiving the first lug to allow limited rotation of the first washer relative to the barrel and the other slot receiving the second lug to allow limited rotation of the first washer relative to the plug. A second stop washer is also provided having two slots therein, one of the slots receiving the first lug to allow limited rotation of the second washer relative to the barrel and the other slot receiving the second lug to allow limited rotation of the second washer relative to the plug. A spring is provided to rotationally bias the stop washers in opposite directions.
