Experimental investigation on the effect of crystal and crucible rotation on thermocapillary convection in a Czochralski configuration

TL;DR: In this paper, an experimental investigation was conducted to understand the effects of crystal and crucible rotations on the thermocapillary convection in a Czochralski configuration.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental investigation on effects of crystal and crucible rotation on thermal convection in a model Czochralski configuration

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of experiments are presented to understand the effects of crystal and crucible rotations on the thermal convection in a model Czochralski (Cz) configuration which consists of a crucible filled with the transparent 0.65cSt silicone oil (Pr = 6.7) and a model crystal.
Journal ArticleDOI

The effect of assembly of coil and field shaper on electromagnetic pulse crimping

TL;DR: In this paper , the relationship between structure parameters of the field shaper and the coil was analyzed through the EMPC experiment of Al tubes, and the results showed that the relative position and height of field shapers and coil have no obvious effect on the deformation length of the Al tube.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation model of electromagnetic pulse welding effect based on Vc-β trajectory curve

TL;DR: In this paper , a welding effect evaluation model based on the welding window theory and the V c - β trajectory curve obtained in the finite element (FE) simulation is proposed, which can provide a new method for evaluating directly the welding effect through the FE simulation results.
