TL;DR: In this paper, the π − p real part goes from negative to positive values below 80 GeV/ c. The slope parameter in the t -region measured is significantly higher than what has been found − t = 0.2 (GeV/c ) 2.

TL;DR: In this article, a read-out system for multi-wire proportional chambers has been constructed, where shift registers are used for the delay and the storage of the wire signals, and long delays > 500 ns can be obtained without introducing a correspondingly long dead time.
