The present invention provides devices, methods and systems for the occlusion of various lumens in a body of a patient including devices and methods for enhancing tissue ingrowth, particularly endothelial tissue growth within an occlusive device. The system includes an occlusive device and a delivery device for placing the occlusive device in a body lumen. The occlusive device is generally a tubular member with a mesh member disposed thereon. The occlusive device is configured to be radially expandable along a longitudinal axis of the tubular member and implantable with a delivery catheter such that the occlusive device is in a collapsed state when positioned in the delivery catheter and in an expanded state when positioned in a lumen of a patient. The mesh member of the occlusive device is configured to promote epithelial tissue ingrowth.

Methods and devices for occluding body lumens and/or enhancing tissue ingrowth

The invention is directed to an endoscopic assembly (10) having an endoscope (30), particularly a flexible hysteroscope (30) and an outer sheath (11) disposed about a length of the shaft of the hysteroscope (30) which has an expandable member (17) such as an inflatable balloon (17) for sealing the assembly within a body lumen or cavity. Specifically, the endoscope assembly (10) is configured for delivery of an occlusive contraceptive member to the patient's fallopian tube. The invention is also directed to an endoscope (40) having a driving member (44) for movement of a medical device within the working lumen of an endoscope. In one embodiment the driving member (44) is a friction wheel which engages an elongated medical device disposed within the working channel of the endoscope to effect longitudinal movement of the medical device.

An integrated circuit obtains improved protection of output buffers against damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Each output buffer is connected to its bondpad by means of a resistor, and protective clamping diodes are disposed around the periphery of the bondpad. It has been found that a suitably sized resistor allows the protective diodes to discharge an ESD event before damage to the buffer occurs, by reducing current flow through the buffer, without significantly limiting performance.

In accordance with the teachings of this invention, a novel auto-zero comparator is provided in which the on resistance of MOS switches serving as transfer gates used in the auto-zero mode to connect the output lead to the input lead is minimized without the need to increase the width to length ratio of the MOS switches. In accordance with the teachings of this invention, the on resistance of the transfer gates is reduced by reducing the threshold voltage of the transfer gates, which in turn is accomplished by making the bulk to source voltage of the transfer gates equal to zero. This is accomplished by utilizing a replica bias circuit which, during the auto-zero mode, replicates the voltage on the source of the transfer gates and applies this replica bias voltage to the bulk of the transfer gates.

A flat panel display device comprising a matrix of X and Y drive lines and a plurality of selecting field effect transistors (FETs) is described. Each FET is selectively operable by applying a potential across a unique pair of X and Y drive lines for controlling activation of a corresponding optical transducer. A high value resistance is interposed in series between the gate electrode of each selecting FET and associated drive line to minimize the effect a short circuit caused by a defective gate electrode establishing an electrical connection between X and Y drive lines. The resistance is preferably provided by a segment of undoped polysilicon on a polysilicon circuit line connecting each gate electrode with the associated X drive line.

Method and means for minimizing the effect of short circuits in flat panel displays

In a protective circuit for input circuit of a junction type field effect transistor, a plurality of gate electrodes are provided for the transistor, an input protective resistor is connected between a signal input terminal and an input side gate electrode and the other gate electrode is connected to the source electrode of the field effect transistor. The protective resistor functions to protect the field effect transistor against excessive forward voltage by passing current between the input side gate electrode and the source electrode and against excessive reverse voltage by passing current between the other gate electrode and the input side gate electrode.
