Assembly converts organic kitchen wastes by digester tank and heat exchanger

Abstract: The novelty is that an assembly which processes solid organic substances incorporates: (a) a digesting tank which receives the organic solids in which the tank ferments the organic substances to compost before discharge; (b) a heat exchanger which is located outside the process tank, in which vapours and gases emitted from the process tank are condensed into a liq. for discharge. The heat exchanger is positioned with an intervening gap on the process tank wall, on that side from which compost is discharged. A blower fan adjacent to the tank directs air at one side of the heat exchanger. Part of the gas transferred from the tank is deodorised by an assembly located under the heat exchanger.
