A tutorial on spectral clustering

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the most common spectral clustering algorithms, and derive those algorithms from scratch by several different approaches, and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms.

A Tutorial on Spectral Clustering

TL;DR: This tutorial describes different graph Laplacians and their basic properties, present the most common spectral clustering algorithms, and derive those algorithms from scratch by several different approaches.
Book ChapterDOI

From graphs to manifolds – weak and strong pointwise consistency of graph laplacians

TL;DR: In this paper, the strong pointwise consistency of a family of graph Laplacians with data-dependent weights to a weighted Laplace operator has been established for the special case where the data lies on a submanifold of R √ √ d.

Clustering Stability: An Overview

TL;DR: This monograph gives a high-level overview about the existing literature on clustering stability and relates the results to each other and discusses their different implications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Graph Laplacians and their Convergence on Random Neighborhood Graphs

TL;DR: This paper determines the pointwise limit of three different graph Laplacians used in the literature as the sample size increases and the neighborhood size approaches zero and shows that for a uniform measure on the submanifold all graph LaPLacians have the same limit up to constants.
