Journal ArticleDOI

The siliconoxygen double-bonded intermediates

TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal decomposition of R 1 R 2 (H)SiOOR 3 silylperoxides has been studied and a mechanism is suggested for the silanone formation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reactions of compounds containing SnLi and GeLi bonds with organic and organometallic peroxides

TL;DR: In this article, the reactions of tris(trimethylsilylmethyl)stannyllithium, tris (trimmethylsily lmethyl)germyllithia and triethylgermylithium with di-t-butyl peroxide were investigated under mild conditions with nucleophilic attack by the R 3 M anion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Kinetics of the catalytic rearrangement of organosilicon peroxides

TL;DR: In this paper, the peroxide rearrangement proceeds to form aryloxysiloxanes and is first order with respect to both peroxide and the catalytic amount of potassium cyanide, potassium and caesium fluorides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of the mechanism of the catalytic rearrangement of triphenyl(triphenylsilylperoxy)germane

TL;DR: The formal kinetics of the rearrangement of triphenyl(triphenylsilylperoxy)germane in the presence of catalytic amounts of potassium cyanide in THF solution and in a benzene/isopropyl alcohol mixture has been studied in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

New rearrangement of triphenyl(triphenylsilylperoxy)germane catalyzed by nucleophiles

TL;DR: In this article, the mechanism of this catalytic rearrangement of unsymmetrical peroxides is discussed, and it is assumed that the initial step of these reactions is rearrangements, catalyzed by (Me 3 SiCH 2 ) 3 Sn anions, with the formation of the germasiloxanes Ph 2 (PhO)GeOSiR 3 (R = Ph or Me).
