Isotope provinces, mechanisms of generation and sources of the continental crust in the Central Asian mobile belt: geological and isotopic evidence
V. I. Kovalenko,V. V. Yarmolyuk,V. P. Kovach,A. B. Kotov,I. K. Kozakov,E. B. Sal’nikova,A. M. Larin +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the available geological, geochronological and isotopic data on the felsic magmatic and related rocks from South Siberia, Transbaikalia and Mongolia are summarized to improve our understanding of the mechanisms and processes of the Phanerozoic crustal growth in the Central Asian mobile belt (CAMB).
Journal ArticleDOI
Early stages of the Paleoasian Ocean formation: Results of geochronological, isotopic, and geochemical investigations of Late Riphean and Vendian-Cambrian complexes in the Central Asian Foldbelt
Journal Article
U-Pb age of Syn- and postmetamorphic granitoids of south Mongolia : Evidence for the presence of grenvillides in the central Asian foldbelt
V. V. Yarmolyuk,V. I. Kovalenko,E. B. Sal’nikova,I. K. Kozakov,A. B. Kotov,V. P. Kovach,Nikolay V. Vladykin,S. Z. Yakovleva +7 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Geochronology of igneous rocks and formation of the Late Paleozoic south Mongolian active margin of the Siberian continent
V. V. Yarmolyuk,V. I. Kovalenko,E. B. Sal’nikova,V. P. Kovach,A. M. Kozlovsky,A. B. Kotov,V. I. Lebedev +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors studied the succession of magmatic events associated with development of the Early Carboniferous-Early Permian marginal continental magmatic belt of southern Mongolia and established the successive rock complexes: the older one represented by differentiated basalt andesite-rhyodacite series and younger bimodal complex of basalt-comendite-trachyrhyolite composition.
Journal ArticleDOI
Isotopic structure and evolution of the continental crust in the East Transbaikalian segment of the Central Asian Foldbelt
TL;DR: In this paper, the geology and tectonics of the main structural elements of the East Transbaikalian segment of the Central Asian Foldbelt are discussed, and a correlation chart for the main stratified and igneous complexes are compiled.
