TL;DR: The T c of NdBa 2 Cu 3 O x systaem was found to be 81 K by a microwave power loss measurements as discussed by the authors, and the XPS data donot provide conclusive evidence for the presence of Cu 3+ and the oxygen vacancies are associated with Cu and Ba ions.

TL;DR: In this article, a low-cost instrumentation based on the principle of a dispersion relation for the study of ORD (optical rotary dispersion) has been developed.
Abstract: Low-cost instrumentation based on the principle of a dispersion relation for the study of ORD (optical rotary dispersion) has been developed. The success of this method is tested for the case of a few biomolecules, and the use of refractometry as a two-in-one instrument is established. >

TL;DR: In this article, a low-cost magnetooptic rotatory dispersion (MORD) instrument based on the principle of a novel dispersion relation is developed, and its usefulness is tested for a few secondary alcohols and synthetic polymers.
Abstract: Studies in magnetooptic rotatory dispersion (MORD) involve expensive instrumentation, which many laboratories in developing countries cannot afford. A low-cost instrument based on the principle of a novel dispersion relation is developed, and its usefulness is tested for a few secondary alcohols and synthetic polymers. The results are quite encouraging. >
