Fundamentals of Error-Correcting Codes
W. Cary Huffman,Vera Pless +1 more
TL;DR: This chapter discusses the development of soft decision and iterative decoding in linear codes, as well as some of the techniques used in convolutional codes.
Book
Handbook Of Coding Theory
TL;DR: This work focuses on the algebraic theory of concolutional codes, a type of binary codes based on residue codes, and its application to discrete geometry.
Book
Introduction to the Theory of Error-Correcting Codes
TL;DR: In this paper, a double-error-correcting BCH Code and a Finite Field of 16 Elements (FF16E) were proposed to correct the double error of the BCH code.
Journal ArticleDOI
On the uniqueness of the Golay codes
TL;DR: Using this method, a method is established to convert results from finite geometries to error-correcting codes and the dimension of a maximal self-orthogonal code and the number of self- orthogonal codes of any fixed dimension in a given space is determined.
