The growth of renewable energy actively takes part in decarbonizing the fossil-fuel-based energy system. It reduces carbon emissions, carbon footprint, and greenhouse gas emissions and increases clean energy. The usage of renewable resources reduces and solves several problems, such as increasing temperature, carbon footprint, greenhouse gas emissions, and energy waste. Every sector contributes to increasing the above-mentioned factors in the environment. One of the main reasons for this biodegradation and climate change is energy resources. Using renewable energy instead of fossil fuel can solve the problem. This paper aims to find open research problems about the application of renewable energy and to initiate new innovative ideas regarding renewable energy. A detailed state of the art includes trends for renewable energy resources, their theoretical evolution, and practical implementations. Methodologies used for decision analysis in renewable energy are discussed in detail. The time frame for this analysis of renewable energy is 2010 to >2022. An extensive literature review finds a huge research scope in applying renewable energy in other research, such as logistics, smart production management, and advanced inventory management. Then, major changes in the profit/cost of that system due to renewable energy can be analyzed. This research proposes some innovative new ideas related cost formulas for renewable energy for the corresponding open problems.

Increasing Growth of Renewable Energy: A State of Art

Efficient utilization of solar energy for photocatalytic hydrogen production and degradation of organic pollutants is one of the most promising approaches to solve the energy shortage and environmental pollution. A series of Co3O4/sulfur-doped polyimide (CO/SPI) direct Z-scheme nano-heterostructure photocatalysts was successfully prepared via a facile green thermal treatment method. The effects of Co3O4 nanoparticles on the structure, morphology, and optoelectronic properties of CO/SPI composite samples were systematically characterized by different spectroscopic methods. Characterization results confirmed that Co3O4 nanoparticles as an acid oxide catalyst promoted the oxidation stripping of bulk SPI to form SPI ultrathin nanosheets. Thus, the Co3O4 nanoparticles were firmly embedded on SPI ultrathin nanosheets to construct a direct Z-type CO/SPI nanostructure junction. Therefore, the activity and cycle stability of photocatalytic water splitting for hydrogen production and organic pollutant degradation were greatly improved under solar light irradiation. In particular, the 0.5CO/SPI composite sample displayed the highest activity with an average production rate of 127.2 μmol g−1 h−1, which is nearly 13 times and 106 times higher than that of SPI and Co3O4. This work provides a new avenue for constructing efficient inorganic–organic nanoheterostructured Z-type photocatalysts and takes an important step towards the efficient utilization of renewable energy.

Allocation of optimal energy from storage systems using solar energy

In wireless communication system, coverage area, transmission quality, signal strength are affected by shadowing, wireless interference, white Gaussian noise etc. This problems can be avoided by deploying more number of eNBs in geographical area, but it will increase deployment cost. In this paper a cost efficient Relay Station (RS) deployment using cost based RS placement (CRP) approach is proposed. After deploying the RSs, average received power by users are also calculated in the paper. The five parameters such as Transmission Signal Strength index (TSSI), RS placement Price index (RPPI), Area covered for service with population (ACS_P) and without population (ACS) and interference index (II) are calculated for deployment of RSs. The simulation results shows that CRP approach is a cost efficient approach.
