PID Controller Design using Characteristic Ratio Assignment Method for Coupled-Tank Process

TL;DR: The characteristic ratio assignment (CRA) is presented which is satisfied specification of performance of control system and very convenient as a fast adjustment damping ratio as well as a high speed response.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Modeling of the modified Quadruple-Tank Process

TL;DR: In this article, a general form of plant model is developed for illustrating the highly flexible plant structure which can be adjusted to many styles that are used for the propose of giving control system engineers experience with multivariable control system design.
Proceedings Article

IMC-based PID controllers design for torsional vibration system

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance speed control design of PID controllers for a torsional vibration system based on internal model control (IMC) is presented for a trosional vibration suppression in two-mass system which includes an IMC filter.
Proceedings Article

Design of PID controller for the modified quadruple-tank process using inverted decoupling technique

TL;DR: In this paper, the inverted decoupling controllers, decreasing the cross coupling between inputs and outputs, transform TITO plant transfer function model into SISO form so that SISO controller for each SISO model can be designed by Root Locus Technique easily and efficiently.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Retinal Image Enhancement in Multi-mode Histogram

TL;DR: The proposed histogram analysis method uses fuzzy set to enhance the images by partitioning the image histogram to multi-modes with derivative equation and produced a high contrast in the field of view that provide feasibility in diagnosis from a retinal image.
