Journal ArticleDOI
Is the Shell-Model Concept Relevant for the Nuclear Interior?
J. M. Cavedon,B. Frois,D. Goutte,M. Huet,Ph. Leconte,Costas N. Papanicolas,X. H. Phan,S.K. Platchkov,S. E. Williamson,W. Boeglin,Ingo Sick +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the radial wave function (R(mathcal{r})$ has been determined by electron scattering from the center of the nucleus of the nuclei of the atom.
Journal ArticleDOI
A precise determination of the 3s proton orbit
B. Frois,J. M. Cavedon,D. Goutte,M. Huet,Ph. Leconte,Costas N. Papanicolas,X. H. Phan,S.K. Platchkov,S. E. Williamson,W. Boeglin,Ingo Sick +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the shape of the 3s proton orbit was derived from the difference in the charge density of the two isotones of 205 Tl and 206 Pb at an incident energy of 502 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurement of charge-density differences in the interior of Pb isotopes.
J. M. Cavedon,B. Frois,D. Goutte,M. Huet,Ph. Leconte,X. H. Phan,S.K. Platchkov,Costas N. Papanicolas,S. E. Williamson,W. Boeglin,Ingo Sick,Jochen Heisenberg +11 more
TL;DR: The ground-state charge densities of /sup 204,206,207,208/Pb have been accurately determined by elastic electron scattering and it is shown that these data are sensitive to the value of the nuclear compressibility kappa and that they are compatible with the value kappa = 230 MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Electron scattering from transitional nuclei
W. Boeglin,P. Egelhof,Ingo Sick,J. M. Cavedon,B. Frois,D. Goutte,V. Méot,Ph. Leconte,X. H. Phan,S.K. Platchkov,S. E. Williamson,M. Girod +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the total binding energies and the intrinsic wave functions have been calculated for different values of β and γ with the constrained triaxial Hartree-Fock-Bogoliubov method using the finite range interaction D1SA.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tensor and vector analyzing powers of the 1H(,pp)n reaction
L.M. Qin,W. Boeglin,D. Fritschi,J. Götz,J. Jourdan,G. Masson,S. Robinson,Ingo Sick,P. Trueb,M. Tuccillo,B. Zihlmann,H. Witała,Jacek Golak,W. Glöckle,D. Hüber +14 more
TL;DR: Tensor analyzing powers Axx and Ayy and vector analyzing powers Ay of the 1H(d,pp)n breakup reaction at Ed = 52.1 MeV were measured in the symmetric collinear and coplanar-star kinematic configurations as mentioned in this paper.
