Journal ArticleDOI

The thermal properties of some metal pyridinecarboxylates

TL;DR: The thermal properties of divalent metal complexes of 2-, 3-, and 4-pyridinecarboxylic acids were determined by TGA, DTA, DSC, high temperature reflectance spectroscopy, and dynamic reflectance spectrum analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Thermal dehydration of some 8-quinolinol chelate hydrates

TL;DR: The thermal dehydration of the 8-quinolinol chelate hydrates of Ni(II), Co(II, Co, Cu, Cd, Mn, Zn, and Zn(II) was studied by thermogravimetric, differential scanning calorimetry, h.t.s. and d.r.
Journal ArticleDOI

The automation of thermal analysis instrumentation: differential thermal analysis

TL;DR: In this paper, an automated DTA instrument is described which is capable of studying eight individual samples, each contained in a glass capillary tube, in a sequential manner, and the samples are automatically introduced into the furnace, pyrolyzed to a preselected temperature limit, and then removed.
