High energy heavy ion collisions—probing the equation of state of highly excited hardronic matter
TL;DR: In this article, a review of the recent progress in extracting the equation of state of hot dense hadronic matter from relativistic heavy ion collisions is presented, and a comparison of the distinct theoretical predictions to recent high multiplicity selected 4π data on fragment formation, pion production and collective sidewards flow is presented.

Phase Space Description of the Quark and Gluon Production from a Space-Time Dependent Chromofield
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived source terms for the production of quarks and gluons from the QCD vacuum in the presence of a space-time dependent external chromofield to the order of S^{(1)}.
