The invention relates to a fuel-injection valve, in particular a high-pressure injection valve for directly injecting fuel into a combustion chamber of a compressed-mixture, spark-ignition internal combustion engine. Said valve is characterised in that an outlet opening (23) is provided downstream of the valve seat (20), the downstream end of said opening having a slit-forming element (30) that to a great extent closes the outlet opening (23). A slit-type flow outlet (35), through which a fuel spray can be discharged in a fan-type jet, is formed between the slit-forming element (30) and a front face (34) of the valve seat body (16).

An exhaust emission control device for an internal combustion engine, capable of supplying a just enough amount of reducing agent to a selective reduction catalyst even when a NOx purification ratio of the catalyst is changed by various causes, thereby enabling a high NOx purification ratio and very low exhaust emissions to be maintained. An ECU calculates a filtered value based on a signal from an exhaust gas concentration sensor, calculates a moving average value of a product of the filtered value and a reference input, calculates a control input such that the moving average value becomes equal to 0, and adds a reference input to the control input to calculate an FB injection amount. The ECU calculates an FF injection amount with a predetermined feedforward control algorithm, and adds the FF injection amount to the FB injection amount, to thereby calculate a urea injection amount.

The invention relates to a fuel-injection valve (1) comprising an actuator (2), which is located in an actuator housing (13) that is connected on the side of a valve needle to a valve body (5, 6) by means of a non-positive fit. The actuator (2) is supported on the opposite end (8) of the actuator housing (13) to said connection. A compensatory section (3) of the actuator housing (13) consists of a material with negligible or a negative thermal expansion, so that the thermal expansion of the actuator housing (13) and the valve body (5) in succession reaching as far as a valve seal seat, corresponds approximately to the thermal expansion of the actuator (2) and transmission elements (12) reaching as far as the valve seal seat. In an elevator, for controlling the upward and downward movement of a cage, a shoe is brought into and out of pressing contact with a drum or a disk of a brake by a combination of a spring and a hydraulic cylinder. The optimum braking force is determined in accordance with the inertial mass and the speed of the cage to be braked, and the fluid pressure is controlled to control the force of pressing of the shoe against the drum or the disk, so that the brake can always produce the optimum braking force. A controller for controlling the pressure of the hydraulic cylinder is operated by an emergency power source. The brake can be controlled with a high responsibility and its braking force can be controlled arbitrarily, and even in the event of a power failure, the brake can be operated by the emergency power source of a small-capacity. Therefore, in the normal condition, the cage can be held accurately in its stop position, and in the event of an emergency, the optimum braking force is produced in accordance with the load and the speed of the cage, and the shortest braking distance can be achieved with a small braking impact.

The servo pump is constituted by a variable displacement type hydraulic pump adapted to be driven by a high-speed motor and to hydraulically drive an actuator. The motor and the pump are housed in a common casing. The motor shaft and the pump shaft are integrated to form a common rotary shaft which is supported rotatably at both its ends by end bearings and at its intermediate portion by an intermediate bearing.

The electromagnetic fuel injection valve is characterized by the provision of a fuel rotating element for causing fuel to flow in a circle. In this way, the fuel is made to flow in a circle, and this accelerates atomization of the fuel.
