A liquid crystal display device includes a plurality of individual and discrete liquid crystal display cells each having two plates disposed in respective directions normal to each other so as to form extension portions in these directions together with overlap portions for assembly of the respective cells. The cells are assembled into a single wide-screen liquid crystal display panel such that lead terminals are disposed in the extension portions of the plates using electrically conductive members, such as elasmatic rubber connectors, for connecting the lead terminals. The lead terminals are maintained in overlapping and electrically conductive relationship via said conductive members.

There is disclosed a structure of a matrix display unit having a matrix display panel with mutually perpendicular groups of signal and scaning electrodes and a wiring board mounting thereon a driver circuit having output terminals disposed on two marginal edges of the wiring board. At least one of the marginal edges is bent closely toward the matrix display panel. Terminal electrodes of one of the groups of the matrix electrodes are electrically connected to the bent marginal edge in confronting relation through an electrically conductive anisotropic member, terminal electrodes of the other group of the matrix electrodes are electrically connected to the other marginal edge through a bent electrically conductive anisotropy member or a flexible wiring sheet.

Structure and method of connecting terminals of matrix display units

A hot melt agent is printed between terminals of a heat seal film substrate 1 having a circuit printed of conductive material on a base film such as polyester. An anisotropic film mixing nickel particles is printed on the terminals. Afterwards, a hot melt agent is printed on the upper surface, and thermo-compression bonded to the printed wiring board on the opposite side. Hence, deviation of terminals is prevented at the time of connection of heat seal film substrate connected by thermo-compression bonding, while elongation of base film is prevented, so that terminals may be connected accurately, so as to be applicable to fine pitches.

PURPOSE:To reduce in size and cost a DC power source by providing a voltage dividing circuit network for dividing a voltage across a current detecting resistor by an impedance having frequency characteristic and a control terminal of the network in a current detector, and controlling the opening and closing of a switch circuit in response to the output of the terminal. CONSTITUTION:A current detector 3 has voltage dividing circuit networks 14-18 for dividing a voltage across a current detecting resistor 13 by an impedance having frequency characteristic, and control terminals 3a, 3b of the networks 14-18, and a controller 2 controls the opening and closing of a switch circuit 1 in response to the outputs of the terminals 3a, 3b. That is, the limit value of the current to be controlled by the controller 2 is increased while a current continuous time is short, and decreased more as the current continuous time is lengthened. Thus, since it can prevent the voltage from dropping and the voltage change rate from increasing, the rated value of the circuit 1 can be reduced, thereby decreasing in size and cost a DC power source.
