In order to do all these commercial activities in an effective and efficient way, using the online social media platform is a suitable choice. This research studies that perceived risk, perceived usefulness, trust, and electronic word-of-mouth are the four predictors of consumer purchase intention. It is noteworthy that the results of this study show that perceived usefulness, perceived risk and electronic word-of-mouth are the key factors affecting customers’ decision in purchasing. The results show that the consumers’ relationship between their trust in the social media network platform information and the use of the product is not significant.

A TAM Approach of Studying the Factors in Social Media and Consumer Purchase Intention in Hong Kong

The increase of vitamin, dietary, herb supplement (VDHS) consumption and highly competitive market has been addressed for years. Marketers should realize consumer’s purchase intention toward VDHS. The objective of this study is to identify the relationship between factors; health consciousness, attitude, subjective norm, perceive behavior control, word of mouth, price, brand knowledge, and purchase intention of Non-Blackmores VDHS users towards Blackmores products. Moreover, the difference in purchase intent when segmented by gender, age, income and education level was investigated. 410 Questionnaires were distributed to respondents at Boots pharmacy in Bangkok by using simple random sampling, quota sampling and convenient sampling technique. Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA were used to analyze the hypotheses. Results showed the significantly positive relationship between all factors and intent to purchase as well as the difference in purchase of Blackmores prodcuts when determined by education level but not gender, age and income level. Identifying Factors influencing Purchase Intentions of Non-Blackmores Users

This research aims to investigate the influences of customer perceived values on Chinese consumer behaviors.The empirical research has been conducted in the context of mobile phone markets in Shanghai.On the basis of large scale questionnaire survey,through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses,the measurement scale of customer perceived values are created and validated.The relationship of customer perceived values and Chinese consumer behaviors is tested in the structural equation model and the influences of all the factors of customer perceived values on Chinese consumer behaviors are discussed in details.Based on the research results, the author proposes a new market segmentation method from the perspective of customer perceived values aiming to help marketers design and position their products,and develop and implement their marketing strategies more effectively.

Influences of customer perceived values on Chinese consumer behaviors——Research on mobile phone mrket in Shanghai

Mobile consumer behavior of migrant workers, a special social group, has obvious population characters. By setting perceived value as an intermediate variable and collecting questionnaires, this paper creates the structural equation model to investigate the relationship between word of mouth (WOM) effect and phone purchase intention (PI). The results show that, through perceived value, word of mouth has a positive impact on purchase intention. Word of mouth has a positive impact on function value (FV), security value (SV) and image value (IV) and has a negative impact on perceived cost (PC). This impact is most significant on security value. Function value, security value and image value have a positive impact on purchase intention; perceived cost has a negative impact on purchase intention. Security value has the most significant impact. Word of mouth has directly positive impact on purchasing intention.
