Energy efficiency and productivity change of China’s iron and steel industry: Accounting for undesirable outputs

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used data from 50 enterprises in China's iron and steel industry to evaluate their energy efficiency and productivity change over the period 2001-2008 and found that the average energy efficiency was only 61.1% while the annual growth rate of productivity was 7.96%.

Factors Impacting Ethical Behavior in a Chinese State-Owned Steel Company

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined factors impacting ethical behavior of 208 employees of a Chinese state-owned steel company and found that only rules climate had a significant impact on ethical behaviour of respondents, while other ethical climate types such as professional, caring, instrumental, independence, and efficiency did not impact ethical behavior.
