The present invention relates to a compressed mat containing seeds and a cultivation set with which a user can simply and easily grow and harvest sprouts and young leafy vegetables in an organic manner without using pesticides, in both indoor and outdoor spaces, in any season, which can be used by either a farmer or an ordinary person, without regularly supplying water. The compressed mat containing seeds according to the present invention comprises a mat-type culture medium in which a plurality of furrows or a plurality of seeding drills are formed on the upper surface at regular intervals; seeds which are seeded in each furrow or seeding drill; and a soil covering material filled into each furrow or seeding drill, wherein an adhesive liquid containing a fermentation powder is mixed with at least two kinds of minerals selected from zeolite, charcoal, vermiculite, diatomite, decomposed granite, red clay, bentonite, elvan and perlite. The soil covering material is compressed and molded.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that old tatami mats necessarily occurring in demolition of house, etc., are bulky, hardly burnable, are difficult to treat as waste, under the present situation, have to be put in charge of specialized waste disposer at cost of disposal, mainly burnt in a treatment method as waste, however, there is problems of air pollution by smoke/pollution by global warming, production of fertilizer by grinding, fermenting and aging old tatami mats is proposed as an effective utilization method, there is a problem with respect to cost versus effect due to requirement of specific process, on the other hand, rooftop vegetation is carried out as a means for solving environmental problems such as air pollution, a heat island phenomenon at an urban district, etc., many proposals of artificial soil are found, however, they are structurally complicated and there is a problem with respect to cost versus effect. SOLUTION: Old tatami mats abandoned as architectural waste are utilized as a material for artificial soil. Namely, the artificial soil is obtained by boring holes through the surface of tatami padding in the direction of thickness of tatami padding, laying the tatami padding on a foundation of rooftop vegetation and filling culture soil to the holes. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute an environmental preservation and greening promotion by greening concrete blocks, basically eliminate their maintenance, reduce cost, and prevent an erosion by flowing water. SOLUTION: The surface of a porous concrete layer 20 is formed in a corrugated surface 23, and a pot part 24 forming a recessed part shape is provided on the surface side of that layer. A potted plant 30 is fitted fixedly to a space 22 and the pot part 24 of the porous concrete layer 20. The entire corrugated surface 23 of the porous concrete layer 20 is covered with a surface layer soil 41. The potted plant 30 is formed by filling soil 32 in a pot 31, and holding the root system of vegetation 33 by the soil 32.
