A flexible tube (1) has mutually parallel ring-shaped flutes, end connectors (2) and longitudinal support cables (4, 5, 102) which hold said connectors against changes in axial spacing, and are rigidly joined to the connectors in the direction of pull and/or pressure, and against which the tube is at least indirectly braced. The longitudinal cables are held on the tube by rings (104) that ensure the radial relative position between tube (1) and cables (4, 5, 102) and hold the cables while the tube (1) is guided along these rings via the cables. The rings are formed by two ring segments, each of which has a hole (109) at the respective segment end to retain the cables therein.

Disclosed is a metal dryer exhaust duct assembly using a pair of flexible corrugated metal ducts capable of linear extension and capable of reorientation of the duct ends, a pair of elbow connectors, one for attachment to a dryer exhaust outlet and the other for attachment to a wall inlet. Each duct has a swivel connection to its respective elbow connector, using a sleeve which interfits with the elbow connector by a peripheral projection and recess arrangement. Each duct can also be interfit with another such duct. The two ducts can be attached respectively to an dryer and a wall spaced from each other, and are vertically self supporting, whereby when the dryer is moved adjacent the wall, a person can readily telescopically interconnect the ends of the ducts over the top of the dryer. One or more pieces of the duct may be used to span the distance between the dryer and the wall outlet.

A connecting means for an exhaust pipe of a vehicle includes a bellows member made of metallic material and cylindrically corrugated for absorbing the deformation force due to the expansion and contraction of the exhaust pipe, an interlock member spirally formed on the inside of the bellows member and having spiral grooves for absorbing the deformation force due to the expansion and contraction of the exhaust pipe, a braid member for surrounding the outside of the bellows member, a cap for pressing an end part of the braid member, and a fixing member for combining the end parts of the bellows member and the interlock member. The fixing member includes a ring-shaped intermediate member one end part of which is welded under one end part of the bellows member, and the other end part of which is extended to be overlapped with the end part of the interlock member and provided with spiral protuberances to be fitted into the spiral grooves of the interlock member. Thereby, the service life of the connecting means is extended and product reliability is improved.

The invention relates to a flexible pipe element (1), especially for exhaust pipes (9) pertaining to internal combustion engines for motor vehicles. Said pipe element comprises helical or annular convoluted bellows (2); at least one strip wound hose (4) which is coaxially adjacent to the bellows, and is coiled in a spiral-shaped manner or comprises a plurality of ring segments; at least one spacer (5) which is locally arranged between the bellows and the strip wound hose (4); and an externally arranged knitted hose (3). The inventive pipe element has an overall rigidity of 5 N/mm at the most.

A device for interconnecting drainage conduits that have been stabilized while forming building footings includes an annular disk and a cylindrical hub extending outwardly from and about the opening. A stop formed in the hub limits the insertion of the drain tile. A nub on the cylindrical hub prevents lateral movement of the device when the footing forms are removed. Breakaway fasteners are used to hold the device to the footing form. Drainage connectors interconnect with other conduit and connectors connected to other devices to form a network for routing moisture to a desired located.
