Constitutive models for the structural analysis of composite materials for the finite element analysis: A review of recent practices

TL;DR: Comparisons of various models used in finite element analysis to assess the structural performance of composite materials will allow comparing various models for their capabilities and application domains for researchers and industry practitioners developing components using composite materials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Mechanical Properties and Constitutive Model Applied to the High-Speed Impact of Aluminum Foam That Considers Its Meso-Structural Parameters.

TL;DR: In this paper, a quasistatic mechanical compression experiments were used to study the stress-strain relationship of aluminum foam, and the mechanism of the compressive deformation of aluminium foam under quasistingatic compression conditions is discussed based on the experimental observations.
