Purpose – The aim of this paper is to explore the components of entrepreneurship education programs (EEPs) and their interrelationships to develop a conceptual framework through which entrepreneurship education may be contextually evaluated and developed.Design/methodology/approach – The paper presents an extensive literature review of the entrepreneurship education literature which is used to inform a comprehensive framework for entrepreneurial education; based upon contextualisation, outcomes, objectives, audience, assessment, content and pedagogy.Findings – The paper develops a comprehensive and parsimonious framework for understanding and evaluating entrepreneurship education programs based on and adapted from the extended conceptualisations and contextualisation of previous research on entrepreneurship education programs.Research limitations/implications – This paper presents preliminary conceptualisation and as such requires subsequent testing in various entrepreneurship contexts.Practical implicati...

The purpose of this multiple case study was to explore strategies used by microbrewers in cases bounded by the fulfillment of the same licensing requirements to launch a microbrewery in Madison County, Alabama. The dynamic capabilities framework served as the conceptual framework for this study. A purposive sampling of 4 microbrewers who possessed tacit knowledge about the microbrewery licensure process participated in face-to-face semistructured interviews providing in-depth information about their strategic approaches. The overarching research question addressed the strategic approaches microbrewers used to complete the microbrewery licensure process. Data analysis included the verbatim transcription of interviews coded for common patterns and themes. The following themes emerged from the data analysis: learning from other brewers, flexible strategic approach, establishing a brewery first, attaining licensing second, business planning strategies, and regulatory echelons for microbrewing licensing. The 4 participants reported that learning from other brewers and applying a flexible strategic approach were the preferred strategies to navigate the licensure process in becoming a commercial microbrewer. Microbrewing in Madison County Alabama: Exploring Business Formation Strategies and Regulatory Compliance

Innovation is inevitable for economic development of the China and even the world, and entrepreneurship education is also an important topic for educators at home and abroad. It is an important issue for the sustainable development and effective operation of industry and education to establish an integrated support system of industry and education in universities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the reform of entrepreneurship education in the fusion of industrial education and university education and use the latest 5G fog computing technology. In this study, we select different types of universities and graduates as our subject. This study gathers the problems that exist in the academic view and measures of the integration of university production and education, education facilities, and entrepreneurship education through research, literature analysis, and interview methods. A corresponding solution is proposed in conjunction with an analysis model of student performance evaluation. The results show that 22% of teachers think that entrepreneurship education helps students develop in an all-round way, 42% of teachers interviewed think that entrepreneurship education is “graduation service,” 13% of teachers think that entrepreneurship education is an organic supplement to professional education, and 23% of teachers interviewed say it is difficult to position it. 80.5% of university teachers think that the current school management system is not suitable for combination of production and learning, school enterprise cooperation, and development needs. It is concluded that the reform of entrepreneurship education system industry and education that are combined in this study has a good effect on improving the current employment problem, but the adaptation degree of colleges and universities is insufficient. This study contributes to the development of integrated model of new technology with entrepreneurship education.

Reform of the Practice Teaching System of Entrepreneurship Education Based on 5G Fog Computing in Colleges and Universities

Purpose – This paper aims to examine some basic pathways to bring issues of public policy into entrepreneurship classes.Design/methodology/approach – The paper looks at policy issues related to taxation, regulation and employment which all offer important topics that can be integrated into a variety of standard entrepreneurship courses.Findings – Integrating policy issues into entrepreneurship classes is important to assist students understand the importance of compliance, to see the linkages to their broader university education, and to help make them more informed citizens.Originality/value – This paper hopes to foster more integration of public policy into both the entrepreneurship classroom and into more traditional streams of entrepreneurship research.
