Journal ArticleDOI

Recent advances in chalcogenide glasses

TL;DR: In this article, the spectral analysis of biomolecules present in human lung cells by measuring their infrared signatures was performed using 77Se NMR spectroscopy, which is a useful tool for checking the local environment of the Se atoms.
Journal ArticleDOI

Production of complex chalcogenide glass optics by molding for thermal imaging

TL;DR: In this article, an industrial process has been developed to produce chalcogenide glass lenses with constant properties with a reproducibility better than 1.5 × 10−5 at 10 μm.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Family of Far-Infrared-Transmitting Glasses in the Ga–Ge–Te System for Space Applications

TL;DR: In this article, the conditions of formation of bulk tellurium chalcogenide glasses, containing 70-80 at % Te associated to Ga and Ge, were described and the characteristic temperatures were measured: the glass transition temperature, Tg, is situated in the range 140-185 °C and the difference T x -T g, where T x is the onset crystallization temperature, is in the ranges 76-113 °C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly efficient and stable planar heterojunction solar cell based on sputtered and post-selenized Sb2Se3 thin film

TL;DR: In this paper, a Sb2Se3 thin film solar cell fabricated using a two-step process magnetron sputtering followed by a post-selenization treatment, which enabled them to optimize the best quality of both the Sb 2 Se 3 thin film and Sb Se 3/CdS heterojunction interface.
