Dress for fit: An exploration of female activewear consumption

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify important attributes of activewear brands and how attributes lead to benefits pursued by female activewear consumers, and find that three product-related attributes (functional design, colour, and size and fit) and two non-product-related (price and model imagery) influence the fulfillment of four benefits (mood enhancement, exercise facilitation, healthy and active lifestyle, and physical fit body image).

Sandwich generation in China: Exchange pattern with older parents and educational expenditure on young children

TL;DR: The authors investigated the associations between financial exchange patterns with older parents and educational expenditure on young children from the perspective of sandwich generation couples and found that individuals tended to spend less on their children's education when they had obligatory financial exchange pattern with their ageing parents compared to their counterparts with independent exchange patterns.
