Coseismic deformation fields and a fault slip model for the Mw7.8 mainshock and Mw7.3 aftershock of the Gorkha-Nepal 2015 earthquake derived from Sentinel-1A SAR interferometry

TL;DR: In this paper, the deformation field associated with the 2015 Gorkha-Nepal earthquake was analyzed by analyzing Sentinel-1A/IW ascending and descending interferometry data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coseismic deformation derived from analyses of C and L band SAR data and fault slip inversion of the Yushu Ms7.1 earthquake, China in 2010

TL;DR: In this article, the authors obtained the coseismic deformation field of the Ms7.1 earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai, China on 14 April 2010 using L band and C band SAR images.
Journal ArticleDOI

Locking degree and slip rate deficit distribution on MHT fault before 2015 Nepal Mw 7.9 earthquake

TL;DR: In this paper, the locking degree and slip rate deficit of the Main Himalayan Thrust (MHT) fault in the southern margin of Tibet before the 2015 Mw 7.9 Nepal earthquake were investigated.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Ship detection from polarimetric sar images

TL;DR: The experimental results show that the proposed method for detecting ships from PolSAR images can effectively reduce false alarms caused by the azimuth ambiguities and eigenvector-eigenvalue decomposition can be used to differentiate ship targets, Azimuth ambiguity and sea clutter.
