The Salutary Influence of Forest Bathing on Elderly Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

TL;DR: Results provided direct evidence that forest bathing has a beneficial effect on CHF patients, and thus may pave the way for potential development of forest bathing as an effective adjunctive therapy on cardiovascular disorders.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gut dysbiosis is associated with the reduced exercise capacity of elderly patients with hypertension.

TL;DR: The data pointed to an altered gut microbiota as a potential contributor to the pathogenesis and progression of the reduced exercise capacity of elderly patients with hypertension.
Journal ArticleDOI

Long non-coding RNAs in aging organs and tissues.

TL;DR: Some examples of known and novel lncRNAs that have been implicated in the aging process in the whole mammalian body are summarized and these patterns, conservation and characters during aging are discussed to further promote the development of research on lnc RNAs and the Aging process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tectoridin inhibits osteoclastogenesis and bone loss in a murine model of ovariectomy-induced osteoporosis

TL;DR: Tectoridin was capable of inhibiting osteoclastogenesis at least in part owing to its ability to interfere with NF-κB pathway activation and was able to protect against in vivo estrogen-deficiency-associated bone loss.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bone mineral density in older patients with chronic heart failure is related to NYHA classification: a retrospective study.

TL;DR: There was a significant correlation between BMD and T-score at lumbar spines over L2–L4 and FN and NYHA class, implying that early screening and comprehensive intervention for osteoporosis (OP) might be helpful for patients with CHF.
