The reliability of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) mechanism is disturbed by illegal tracking and information intercepted.The paper proposed a new active RFID authentication protocol based on the dynamic tag ID and encryption key,which transforms the tag ID using chaotic transformation during authentication and communication between the reader and tags,and realizes mutual authentication of the reader and tags.Through the analysis of security, the protocol not only can ensure the integrity, fresh and confidentiality of data, but also can effectively prevent illegal tracking labels and replay attack.

RFID Authentication and Communication Protocol Based on the Dynamic Active Tag ID and Key

The developments made in IoT applications have made wearable devices a popular choice for collecting user data to monitor this information and provide intelligent service support. Since wearable devices are continuously collecting and transporting a user's sensitive data over the network, there exist increased security challenges. Moreover, wearable devices lack the computation capabilities in comparison to traditional short-range communication devices. In this paper, authors propounded a Yoking Proof based remote Authentication scheme for Cloud-aided Wearable devices (YPACW) which takes PUF and cryptographic functions and joins them to achieve mutual authentication between the wearable devices and smartphone via a cloud server, by performing the simultaneous verification of these devices, using the established yoking-proofs. Relative to Liu et al.'s scheme, YPACW provides better results with the reduction of communication and processing cost significantly.

PUF-based Privacy-Preserving RFID Protocol

Wireless transmission,broadcast of signals,resource-constraint disturb the reliability of Radio Frequency Identification(RFID) system and block the deployment progress of RFID techniques.Through the analysis of current common RFID authentication protocol,an authentication protocol based on Hash function and key array was proposed.The new protocol used one-way Hash function value instead of label identifier,and designed independent authentication key for each pair between the reader and the tag in the certification process.It could resist several possible attacks,including eavesdropping,location tracking,re-transmission attacks,Denial of Service(DoS),tampering and other attacks.It has obvious advantages in enhancing the tag identity privacy,and resisting the threat from within the system.
