TL;DR: The China Dark Matter Experiment (CDEX) as mentioned in this paper employs a point-contact germanium semi-conductor detector PCGe whose detection threshold is less than 300 eV, which can directly detect the WIMP flux with high sensitivity in the low mass region.

Scalable silicon-based mode-order converters assisted by tapered metal strip layer
TL;DR: In this article , the authors proposed a scalable silicon-based mode-order conversion scheme that can achieve the mode order conversion from input fundamental TE mode to arbitrary output higher-order TE mode in a conversion length of only 2.5 μm.
