The present invention provides an interlayer film for laminated glass which enables production of laminated glass having a high visible transmittance and excellent heat-shielding properties, and enables the laminated glass to retain the high visible transmittance for a long period of time; and provides laminated glass including the interlayer film. An interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention includes a first heat-shielding layer and at least one second heat-shielding layer. The first heat-shielding layer includes a thermoplastic resin and at least one component selected from a phthalocyanine compound, a naphthalocyanine compound, and an anthracocyanine compound. The second heat-shielding layer includes a thermoplastic resin and metal oxide particles. The laminated glass of the present invention includes a first member for laminated glass, a second member for laminated glass, and an interlayer film sandwiched between the first member for laminated glass and the second member for laminated glass. The interlayer film is the interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention.

An illumination device includes: a light source device adapted to emit an excitation light beam; and a rotating fluorescent plate having a single fluorescent layer adapted to convert a part or whole of the excitation light beam into a fluorescent light beam. The invention relates to video holograms and devices for reconstructing video holograms, comprising an optical system that consists of a light source (1), lens (2) and the video hologram (3) that is composed of cells arranged in a matrix or a regular pattern with at least one opening per cell, the phase or amplitude of said opening being controllable. The video holograms and devices for reconstructing the same are characterised in that holographic video representations of expanded spatial objects (6) can be achieved in a wide viewing area in real time using controllable displays, whereby the objects are either computer-generated or created by different means. The space-bandwidth product (SBP) of the hologram is thus reduced to a minimum and the periodicity interval of the Fourier spectrum is used as a viewing window (5) on the inverse transformation plane, through which the object is visible in the preceding space. The mobility of the viewer(s) is achieved by tracking the viewing window. The invention can be advantageously used in the television, multimedia, games and construction fields, in military and medical technology, in addition to other economic and social areas.

The laser scanning microscope comprises an objective focusing a laser beam on a sample, and takes fluorescence or reflected light from the sample, optical scanning means for scanning the laser beam on the sample two-dimensionally, an acousto-optic device, arranged on an optical path of a fluorescence or a reflected light, which selects and deflects only a light beam with the wavelength which corresponds to incident fluorescence or the reflected light and a frequency of the applied high frequency voltage, optical detection means for detecting a light beam through the acousto-optic device, and frequency scanning means for switching and setting a frequency of a high frequency voltage applied to the acousto-optic device.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device that uniformly illuminates an illumination object area (image forming area) without causing a conspicuous speckle noise, and to provide a projection video display device thereof.SOLUTION: The illumination device includes a light source 11 for emitting coherent light, a light scanning unit 15 for performing scanning with the coherent light emitted by the light source 11, a lens array 22 having a plurality of element lenses and diverging the light scanned by the light scanning unit, and an optical path conversion system 23 which is set so that a divergence angle of the divergent light emitted from respective points of the lens array 22 is suppressed, and the divergent light with suppressed divergence angle illuminates the illumination object area by temporally superposing the illumination.

SOLUTION: Light-intensity distribution of an invisible light is made to impinge on one surface of a wavelength conversion member 63 arranged at a position to which the light-intensity distribution is radiated, and the light-intensity distribution of the invisible light is converted into light-intensity distribution, whose center is a specific visible light wavelength. The light-intensity distribution, whose center is the specific visible light wavelength, is expanded optically, and imaged by an imaging means 69 from the other surface side of the wavelength conversion member. The imaged data are output to an analysis means as a light-intensity distribution waveform signal of visible light, comprising light-intensity information and two-dimensional positional information, and the light-intensity distribution of the invisible light is obtained, by analyzing the light-intensity distribution waveform signal of the visible light with the analysis means. SOLUTION: The machining method for radiating laser light to a transparent material to be processed mounted on a stage 25 includes steps of collecting laser light emitted from a laser light source by a condenser lens, radiating the collected laser light to the material, absorbing or passing the laser light transmitted through the material on the stage 25 when the material is to be processed, and diffusely reflecting the laser light on the surface of the stage 25. The laser processing apparatus and the crystallization apparatus characterized by the above method are also provided. Thus, the material can be well processed without abrasion (transpiration) occurring on the surface of the stage 25 and without an unintended part of the material machined. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for crystallization which produces a crystal nucleus at a desired position and produces a large-diameter crystallized semiconductor film by attaining good lateral growth from the crystal nucleus. SOLUTION: The crystallization apparatus is provided with a lighting system 2 for lighting a phase shift mask 1, and produces a crystallized semiconductor film by irradiating a semiconductor film 4 with light having light intensity distribution of a reverse peak pattern whose light intensity is the lowest in the region corresponding to a phase shift portion of the phase shift mask. The apparatus is also provided with an imaging optical system 3 having image side numerical aperture set at a value required for generating the light intensity distribution of the reverse peak pattern, for establishing an optically conjugate relation between the semiconductor film and the phase shift mask. The phase shift mask is provided with a boundary region, and a first region and a second region which are arranged on both sides of the boundary region respectively, with a predetermined phase difference.
