The generalized Heronian mean and geometric Heronian mean operators provide two aggregation operators that consider the interdependent phenomena among the aggregated arguments. In this paper, the generalized Heronian mean operator and geometric Heronian mean operator under the q‐rung orthopair fuzzy sets is studied. First, the q‐rung orthopair fuzzy generalized Heronian mean (q‐ROFGHM) operator, q‐rung orthopair fuzzy geometric Heronian mean (q‐ROFGHM) operator, q‐rung orthopair fuzzy generalized weighted Heronian mean (q‐ROFGWHM) operator, and q‐rung orthopair fuzzy weighted geometric Heronian mean (q‐ROFWGHM) operator are proposed, and some of their desirable properties are investigated in detail. Furthermore, we extend these operators to q‐rung orthopair 2‐tuple linguistic sets (q‐RO2TLSs). Then, an approach to multiple attribute decision making based on q‐ROFGWHM (q‐ROFWGHM) operator is proposed. Finally, a practical example for enterprise resource planning system selection is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

Some q‐rung orthopair fuzzy Heronian mean operators in multiple attribute decision making

In this paper, we utilize power aggregation operators to develop some Pythagorean fuzzy power aggregation operators: Pythagorean fuzzy power average operator, Pythagorean fuzzy power geometric operator, Pythagorean fuzzy power weighted average operator, Pythagorean fuzzy power weighted geometric operator, Pythagorean fuzzy power ordered weighted average operator, Pythagorean fuzzy power ordered weighted geometric operator, Pythagorean fuzzy power hybrid average operator, and Pythagorean fuzzy power hybrid geometric operator. The prominent characteristic of these proposed operators are studied. Then, we have utilized these operators to develop some approaches to solve the Pythagorean fuzzy multiple attribute decision-making problems. Finally, a practical example is given to verify the developed approach and to demonstrate its practicality and effectiveness.

Pythagorean fuzzy power aggregation operators in multiple attribute decision making

Pythagorean fuzzy set, generalized by Yager, is a new tool to deal with vagueness considering the membership grade $$\mu $$
 and non-membership $$\nu $$
 satisfying the condition $$\mu ^2+\nu ^2\le 1$$
 . It can be used to characterize the uncertain information more sufficiently and accurately than intuitionistic fuzzy set. Pythagorean fuzzy set has attracted great attention of many scholars that have been extended to new types and these extensions have been used in many areas such as decision making, aggregation operators, and information measures. Because of such a growth, we present an overview on Pythagorean fuzzy set with aim of offering a clear perspective on the different concepts, tools and trends related to their extension. In particular, we provide two novel algorithms in decision making problems under Pythagorean fuzzy environment. It may be served as a foundation for developing more algorithms in decision making.

Pythagorean fuzzy set: state of the art and future directions

As a generalization of intuitionistic fuzzy set, the Pythagorean fuzzy set is interesting and very useful in modeling uncertain information in real-world decision-making problems. In this paper, we develop a new method for Pythagorean fuzzy multiple-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems with aggregation operators and distance measures. First, we present the Pythagorean fuzzy ordered weighted averaging weighted average distance (PFOWAWAD) operator. The main advantage of the PFOWAWAD operator is that it uses distance measures in a unified framework between the ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator and weighted average (WA) that considers the degree of importance of each concept in the aggregation. Some of its main properties and special cases are studied. Then, based on the proposed operator, a hybrid TOPSIS method, called PFOWAWAD-TOPSIS is introduced for Pythagorean fuzzy MCDM problem. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the practicality and feasibility of the developed method.

A Hybrid Method for Pythagorean Fuzzy Multiple-Criteria Decision Making

The processes of generating innovative solutions mostly rely on skilled experts who are usually unavailable and their outcomes have uncertainty. Computer science and information technology are changing the innovation environment and accumulating Big Data from which a lot of knowledge is to be discovered. However, it is a rather nebulous area and there still remain several challenging problems to integrate the multi-information and rough knowledge effectively to support the process of innovation. Based on the new cross discipline Extenics, the authors have presented a collaborative innovation model in the context of Big Data. The model has two mutual paths, one to transform collected data into an information tree in a uniform basic-element format and another to discover knowledge by data mining, save the rules in a knowledge base, and then explore the innovation paths and solutions by a formularized model based on Extenics. Finally, all possible solutions are scored and selected by 3D-dependent function. The model which integrates different departments to put forward the innovation solutions is proved valuable for a user of the Big Data by a practical innovation case in management.

An Extension Collaborative Innovation Model in the Context of Big Data

Extenics and Innovation Methods

The concepts of relations and information measures have importance whenever we deal with medical diagnosis problems. The aim of this paper is to investigate the global pandemic COVID-19 scenario using relations and information measures in an interval-valued T-spherical fuzzy (IVTSF) environment. An IVTSF set (IVTSFS) allows describing four aspects of human opinions i.e., membership, abstinence, non-membership, and refusal grade that process information in a significant way and reduce information loss. We propose similarity measures and relations in the IVTSF environment and investigate their properties. Both information measures and relations are applied in a medical diagnosis problem keeping in view the global pandemic COVID-19. How to determine the diagnosis based on symptoms of a patient using similarity measures and relations is discussed. Finally, the advantages of dealing with such problems using the IVTSF framework are demonstrated with examples.
