Journal ArticleDOI

Deep learning-based automatic recognition of water leakage area in shield tunnel lining

TL;DR: Data augmentation to increase the number of positive samples, transfer learning to improve the robustness of convolutional layers, and cascade strategy to enhance the quality of samples were adopted to achieve high precision pixel segmentation of water leakage.
Journal ArticleDOI

An optimization strategy to improve the deep learning-based recognition model of leakage in shield tunnels

TL;DR: The model compression technique was implemented to remove the redundant parameters in the training stage and enhance the detection accuracy and speed of the original model and it was concluded that the compressed model with 62% sparsity reached average precision of 0.399 at the detection speed of 7 frames per second.
Book ChapterDOI

Semantic Segmentation of Shield Tunnel Leakage with Combining SSD and FCN

TL;DR: A novel convolutional network for fast detection and segmentation of the water leakage is constructed using Mask R-CNN and divided into five groups of different backgrounds to evaluate the interference caused by the complex background and its various shapes.
