TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the differences between dry and wet grinding as far as the selection and breakage functions are concerned, and show that wet grinding has appeared more selective than dry grinding for coarse material, while it did not produce more schlamms.

A semi-empirical relationship between selection function and particle load in batch ball milling

TL;DR: In this paper, a relationship is obtained to predict the influence of particle load on the selection parameters of the discretized batch grinding equation, in terms of two partial probabilities of impact and of breakage efficiency per impact, with the latter accounting for the energy distribution of tumbling balls.
